WannadiveHut welcome

Our crew

Roeland hails from The Netherlands, and is ordinarily called Bob, because his name is not the easiest to pronounce for any nationality but dutch. He is a multilingual PADI dive instructor and absolutely loves his job. More importantly, he is capable of bringing his love for diving, across to his students. Guided diving is another strong point. He knows bonaire's divesites like his back pocket, and is eager to show the myriad of bonaire's undersea creatures to his guests. you can find "Bob" regularly grinning: "I have to watch myself not to have more fun than my guests, it would just be inappropriate"

Bart also comes from the netherlands and has been diving professionally on bonaire for years. he too, is a multilingual padi instructor and an ssi 5000 platinum pro. Bart has been a very active member of the nature conservancy groups on bonaire. He is the co founder of fpkb, the foundation to preserve klein bonaire, and a board member of the stcb, the organization to save bonaire's sea turtles. Bart has been managing other dive operations, which gave him a good insight of the needs of his guests. he says "it is not so important what we think we must offer, it is important that we offer what our guests want".

Kim is from the south of Holland and visited Bonaire for the first time in August 2005. She came over to visit a friend and stayed for a month. She always told her selves that she would never go diving because it is so scary J  .After meeting the crew of Wannadive they convinced her that diving was everything but scary. So she gave it a try and loved it ever since. She visited Bonaire 2 times more before deciding to move to this lovely Island. In May 2007 she made the big step and never regretted it. She started working at AB Car rental and after a year she found out that they where looking for a new supervisor at the Wannadive Hut. She didn't have to think twice and from September 2008 she is our new "Hut Face". Kim has been working in tourism all here life. She has a lot of energy, enjoys and infects here whole team with her enthusiasm. Her motto: "a Happy team, makes happy faces and a lot of happy guests”

Benaia comes from the Dominican Republic but has lived on Bonaire for many years. She joined our team in the beginning of 2006 and is responsible for the housekeeping. Together with our cook Griselda, also from the Dominican Republic, she gives an international feel to the crew. Benaia helps sometimes in the kitchen before she goes off taking care of all the rooms.

Griselda also comes from the Dominican Republic.
She joined our team in the beginning of 2007 and is responsible for the restaurant. She makes sure every guests gets the tasty breakfast he or she ordered. If there is time left she helps Benaia with the housekeeping.

Scuba Bob has many nationalities. He is part Bonairian, Dutch, Italian, American & French. Although he has only been at the Wannadive Hut since june 2006, he already has a huge fanclub and is definately our most photographed crewmember.
He is the quiet type of guy but he knows all the divesites on Bonaire, and their number & location, by hard.
Pass by 'The Hut' to meet Scuba Bob because he is not very likely to be seen on any of our other locations!
